Love it!

Just received my UC Fantasy Sword Cane on Monday, by Wednesday the nut had come loose, but it was a very simple fix. I removed the cap and the nut was very easy to tighten with some lock-tite. Very sturdy everyday cane, and while it does rattle in the sheath a bit it is not much louder than my non sword cane.

love this cane with some improvements

received my cane today well packaged quick shipping. after unboxing it seems to be well made and a fun cane and sword. but Within an hour the screw holding the button on that releases the sword had come loose and fallen out. Not a big deal I thought I will disassemble the hilt and put the screw back in with a touch of red loctite. but once I got the head off of the hilt I found that the nut holding it on was no longer attached and now rattles around in the head without a way to reattach it. So I am going to drill out the hole and remove the nut and then weld a nut to the underside of the head. Then I will be able to reassemble and have a kick butt sword cane. My wife wanted me to send it back but I figured that I would just get another sword with the same problems that would need to be addressed so I would rather fix those small issues and have a great sword.

The blade was loose .I pray the blade has more range in the handle than screwed shaft. It was easy to tighten the blade. The top cap popped off several. The blade was not as sharp as advertised. I liked the look and feel .BUT the release button Is to visible. I paid $99 .Would like to get one on this sale at $59 .I have one cane sword marked Indian I bought it 38 years ago. It has a collier on it that turns to release the blade .It never rattled and has held up to years of walking and cardboard boxes..Doc Watson has carried it in several movie. In the last movie he cut a rope bridge down.2012. about. I have destroyed 4 of the 7 canes I have purchased. I'going easy on them from now oniOns one had a blade worth saving.

Well made

I'm very happy with this except the sword sheath is not 100% straight. There is a slight bow, not to the blade, the cane sheath. Mine has zero rattle, a very solid feel.

United Cutlery - The Best ! ! !

Simply Beautiful Cane. Not perfect as others have said, but for the awesome price it is well worth doing a few things to make it Rock Solid... Does rattle a bit ONLY if you shake it, so I took a can of spray foam insulation and hooked up a 2' small diameter hose to the nozzle. Put it down into the cane shaft and sprayed while lifting the hose up and out. Not too much because the foam expands while it dries. Cane just a tad bit heavier now and the blade does not move at all... Blade moves just a very small amount where connected to the hilt when out of the shaft, so I used two small wood shims wite some wood/metal glue and now the entire cane is rock solid Big Time ! ! Great deal for 70 bucks and my very favorite cane of all thus far.....

Not perfect but just worth the money the leather wrapped handle and scroll work is very nice on the handle. The blade has a nice light but tight feel inside the handle after being tightened. The top of the cane has a cap which can come off and must be fixed back on if to be used so it won't fly off. The tang runs pretty much the whole handle bit at the very bottom there is a screw or threading wielded onto it so to be tightened with a bolt not the best in support but can always be fixed. As far as the sheath it does make a good bit of sound but I'm looking into finding a way to fix that. Over all nice shard shines and blood grove feels nice handle and over all worth is worth it.

Sword was shipped with a loose blade. Workmanship is only worth 20 dollars at best. Had to tighten down the nut inside the knob after somehow unscrewing it from the threaded bar inside. Severely disappointed with the low quality.

fantasy sword cane

I agree with the first reviewer. The blade and handle is nicely made, but it does rattle quite a bit. As you walk, every time you tap the ground, the sound makes it very obvious it is a sword cane.

the sword cane is well made, the blade is beautiful, only the blade rattles around in the sheath , otherwise I'd give it a 4 star rating
