Get Two
This budget tanto is a lot of knife for the money. I decided to grab these during a recent bogo sale and very happy overall. is it perfect, no. while the sheath is a decent leather the strap supposed to secure the handle is not well designed. the handguard pushes against the fit and makes it very difficult to snap secure. At this price point thats not too important. Both of the knives i recieved were very sharp. blade is thicker than i anticipated on the spine and that is a good thing in my opinion considering the length. The handle is ok, in my opinion a little slippery. overall a great buy as a collectible, training, and potentially a tool that could protect you or your family.

A Great Addition to My Collection
I ordered this with one of the sales discounts. I had looked at it for sometime. I was impressed with some of the video reviews of this knife. It has a nice feel to it. It is not a cheap knife. This is a value added knife in my opinion. A great combat knife in a dagger mode - made for stabbing. The blade was sharp. This will not disappoint.

Awesome Blade
I have both versions of the blade and I love the black one more. I love how it look and it's also a tough blade. The grip is nice and textured for good grip. It comes sharp enogh to cut paper but it could be sharpened even more if need to. I am very happy with this blade. I know it's only 440 but is well made and I am sure the tempering treatment is far better than other budget knives.

United Honshu Tanto Black Knife
This blade is awesome. Strong light balanced and is a true killing tool. Might be useful for some light bush craft, but the weight is perfect for combat and that's how it fits in my system. A simple adjustment of the sheath allows fast draw. The sheath is not well designed in regards to this style guard. By snapping the retainer on the belt loop side the blade will catch and not release w/o a firm draw. Have heard that this is a budget knife. Have found it to be one of the best I have purchased at any price. Highly recommend this one.

Cool knife mostly
Got it in the mail yesterday and man is it huge!! Mine didn't come all that sharp but I can fix that with a little time. Love the shape, handle and non-glare finish. My only concern is that the hilt has some noticeable play in it. Not sure if I should return it or not.

great buy
My first impression when I pulled this blade out of the box was "woah, this is huge!". the size of the knife is incredible, and it came out incredibly sharp. The full tang really adds to the feel of the whole blade. I heard a lot of complaint about the handle, but personally, I like it. A great buy, must get.

a very sturdy, comfortable knife. Definetly a great purchase.
the sheath's handle strap doeant fit all the way around the handle, so i just cut it off. it doesnt fall out or anything unless u purposely want it to.
