Timber Rattler Swamp Gator Hunter Bowie Knife & Leather Sheath. Feels great in the hand, nice sheath. Blade is solid and is what's expected from a stainless-steel Knife for the price. Larger than most, nice looking and good feel to the handle and sheath. Overall great piece to represent that swap style Bowie for a collector in who is not living in a Swap. Came very sharp but if you are really going to fight Gators, I suggest getting a much more expensive blade.

The blade is massive the weight to it is perfect,handle is great...as soon as i opened it just above the blade is a long scratch from the bottom to the top of blade,the full length of the blade.the price is good for what it is,which is a bowie knife that fits me perfect,first one that i got that is scratched.

I was disappointed in this bowie, don't understand how this custom steel series is made of cheaper steel, I have several timber rattler bowies and most are made of surgical steel, where as the gator hunter has already begun to rust and I keep all my knives in the same case. Very nice looking knife just not worth $30, stick with the higher quality $20 models

when I first ordered this knife, from the picture I thought it was basically the big Green Bowie(got one of those too)with a bone handle. Boy was I wrong, the handles are similar in style, but the blade is a little longer and a lot thicker. I think the blade thickness is about 1/4" thick, same as my western outlaw bowie, where the big green's blade is about 3/8" thick. the knife is of course heavier. If you have a big green bowie and like it, you'll love this!!
