Nice HD knife. Finger Grips and scales in general could be a bit smaller to fit normal sized hands better. If you have bear paws for hands it should be a perfect fit. I'm glad it came with a crappy sheath. I do leather crafting and I'll be making a heck of nice leather sheath for this bad boy. I also sharpen and customize knives. So the saw teeth are going to razor sharp along with cutting edge. If I ever have to stick something, it won't be running away with the my knife stuck in it due to the saw teeth hold it firmly in the wound. I'll also be drilling a lanyard hole and adding a braided lanyard strong enough to match the weight of the knife. Totally satisfied with the beginnings of a truly unique knife to have to show and self defense.

I BOUGHT A TIMBER RATTLER BOWIE, THE KNIFE IS ABSOLUTELY A GREAT KNIFE, THE ONLY DRAW BACK IS THE SHEATH, BUT I FOUND A LEATHER ONE TO FIT IT. THIS KNIFE IS A SHOWSTOPPER.

I'm carried a knife since I was 13 and I'll be 66 by years end. This is the 1st blade that drew blood from me straight out of the box. I can't think of a better complement that I can give a knife in this review. This blade is the real deal. It is not a toy. Treat it with RESPECT or IT WILL BITE YOU.

I bought this knife recently and I carry it with me. It's a mean looking blade. I'm very pleased and continue to purchase more knives from Bud!

For the price of this life I am very. It says on the box Wicked sharp and it does come very sharp you can almost shave with it. It's not a full-time life so I wouldn't go throwing it around or try to cut down trees with it but as far as a knife goes for the money that would be hard to beat

got mine in the mail today and i love it...thinner blade so please stop trying to cut wood with it..lol...its just right for a self defense weapon and wll pierce anybodys ribcage if need be.....gave it 4 cuz im not a big fan of the nylon sheath.....but overall i love it,,,will be buying plenty more knives from bud ...got 3 more enroute as we speak...lol

I loved this knife... a little too much. It is indeed very sharp out of the box (able to slice strips of paper nicely). The only problems I had with it were that the tip kept bending and the knife snapped in half at the handle when I threw it (oops). I'm thinking about repairing it or turning into a scary looking spear. Overall great knife.

Sharpest knife I've ever received, out of the box. Thinner than I anticipated. Good, as it is lighter also and I actually plan on carrying this on a job out of state, where bears could be an issue, though unlikely. Will Likely buy again. Jim
