Good and sharp

This blade was good. I love it. It is really sharp so be careful. Mine slid out of the saya and cut my thumb but that was my fault.

Steel is very soft, no idea what they did during the tempering nor the type of steel they used. But I put this to test against a $9 dollars knife that was bought at harbor freight and well, the $9 dollar knife's still fine as this sword were chipped everywhere, the backside of the blade was also dented when it was put to a parrying test. (The edge was abuse tested using both the knife's edge and spine.) Over all, it looks gorgeous, but I don't think I can recommend it for fencing practice of any sort. Light target cutting's also fine with this one.
