Inspired by the beauty of Japan's cherry blossom tree, our Shinwa Hand Forged Crimson Damascus Steel Katana is battle ready and display worthy. This sword offers a stunning high carbon 26 1/2" Crimson Damascus steel blade with a blood groove. The metal guard features Sakura and temple artwork with hand painted accents, which carries through the cherry blossom theme. A genuine ray skin handle is traditionally cord-wrapped with black nylon. The katana is protected by a hardwood scabbard with a high gloss black piano paint finish.

This sword should only use for display and not for backyard cutting. The edge is rolled over with only soft targets. Got it BOGO so give it 3 stars for that.

BEAUTIFUL!!!

I just got his sword, and it is Beast. It came wrapped in a soft cloth, inside of a box. The scabbard is nice and shiny, and the sword is AMAZING! The damascus is a beautiful work of art and came sharp right out of the box. BUY ONE NOW! (Get it with a discount to make this even better!)

Awesome sword

The pictures really do it no justice. The blade is beautiful and fairly sharp. All the parts are snug and there is no rattling or otherwise poor craftsmanship apparent. In the box, it was securely packed and wrapped in a soft cloth. Altogether I am very happy with my purchase.
