Misleading
I bought three boxes of these knives at once knowing I was not going to get the greatest quality but I still expected more then what I got. These knives are the thickness of body panels on a car. they are just a stamped out piece of sheet metal with a point on one end. they get bent after less then a half a dozen throws. Overall they are garbage in my opinion.

Grew on me,
I too was a lil disappointed in the unboxing of the knives. The picture makes them look like they are thicker with textured ridges in the metal, they're not. Thin, Flat, with painted on accent marks.. So after I got over it and actually used them I realized that they do throw well and they do come pretty ol sharp. Yes the Sheath is terrible but all in all the knives themselves are great for beginners and survivalist. I have actually used one of them as a spear tip because of the thin flat design. Now if I could throw this spear as well as I can throw these knives. 4 outta 5 stars ONLY because of the sheath. Also note that making your own sheath from hide or scrap leather is not that difficult.

cool
these are good knives but they are light weight and are very sharp on point and blade. The only thing i did not like about the knives is the sheath it was very cheap. I would suggest getting these knives any time.

Sick Throwers
At unboxing they seemed cheap and thin and not likely a good thrower. I learned to not judge a book by its cover, these throwers are among the best i've used and for $5.00 they are absolutely unbeatable. the sheath is complete trash but the knives are what your buying. They are SOOO easy to judge your distance and rotations, these can easily (and will be) used for hunting small game...

Best 5 Dollar Set Over 7 Inches
Excellent set of throwing knives for 5 dollars. Solid thick steel, bend with heavy use but i used them for honing my larger knives throwing skills. Most discount knife sets are 5 inches or so. These knives are 8 inches maybe a little more and they are great for novices and also beginners looking for larger knives more like used for hunting and competition. Killed a vulture with one of these things no s***. Editor's Note: Thank you for your comments. We have updated the review to reflect the appropriate materials.
