Better than the G.I.
This flashlight looks and feels like the G.I. version but is MUCH brighter. Exceeds my expectation. I don't use the colored lenses, so can't comment on the criticisms about them.

nice flashlight
I had one of these when i was in basic training in the Army. Great flashlight but the lenses or discs arnt good like another reviewer said dull colors.Otherwise its a good durable flashlight worth the price.

Great flashlight, but...
The only problem I have with this product is the lenses. The lenses are just not dark enough for the new, bright led technology. They are supposed to be yellow, green, blue and red. Mine come out neon yellow, neon green, neon blue and neon pink. They are just not dark enough. When I use the red, it has to be red. To save my night vision. Neon pink just doesn't cut it. Wonderful flashlight, though. Strong, sturdy and tough. Excellent quality. Just needs darker colored lenses.

Mil-Spec 5 LED Angle Head Flashlight
Great flashlight for emergencies, vehicle or camping. Tested burn time and got 24 hrs + of constant light on 2 cheap standard heavy duty D cells. Would get more with alkaline batteries. Screw on caps have rubber gaskets making them water proof. The 5 LED's are much brighter than a typical incandescent flashlight bulb. Clip it on a belt or back pack harness to light the trail at night and keep your hands free for other tasks than holding the light.
