Great slasher

Great piece. It is not designed to be twirled and used for fancy kata crap. It is designed to hack, pierce and slash. It meets those demands with ease.

Very Cool but...

I bought a pair of these kama. As a practitioner I have to say that they are poorly balanced. The maker should add a little weight to the handle. Traditional kama are not so top heavy. Extra heavy blades are great if all you are going to do is hack with it. That all being said, I think they are wicked cool. Most people are not going to use them the way a kobudo expert would. They are solid, sharp, and probably effective in anyone's hands.

wicked cool!!

Im new to kamas, but this is too cool not to buy, so far ive enjoyed it with no problems (made in china though). M48 is the only brand I actually trust thats made in china, but I do wish to find more gear made in america. I use it for cutting cactus, ive taken off small tree limbs with it, just dont take off your own leg with this thing!
