Was exactly what I payed for
I was very surprised to see the blade was sharp and as durable as advertised. My favorite thing about it is the well designed sheath and the two hand grips. The way the hand grip can ergonomically hold you in a thrusting position with a lot of the balance point in your thumb makes it feel like the polearm is it should be. I enjoyed it a lot and recommend it to any martial practitioner.

I finally got one
Alright, I have been eye screwing this Naginata for quite some time now. I am amazed at how great of quality this thing really is. It has an extremely log reach, and it does what you need it to do. The reason I chose this spear vs the traditional spear is this one is more catered toward a slashing mindset vs just peer thrusting mindset. You are still able to thrust and throw the spear, but the way the blade is shaped makes for a better combination of actual moves you can do with it. This Naginata is extremely lightweight too, making it very easy to maneuver when using it. 5 stars. Get one.

Love It
This is simply beautiful. It slices, it dices, it pierces, and it chops. It's a perfect fit for my size. Also, it can be thrown like a spear and do some damage.

Awesome addition to my collection
I love almost everything about this naginata except I think the shaft should have been made longer. I have several naginatas in my collection and this one seems smaller by a foot. Not to big an issue but I would perfer a longer shaft on this weapon. Overall the blade is sharp, nice weight, and the price is good. Goes great in my collection.

Value
This item is very high quality.
Very Sharp, Perfect for defense.
I own most all M48 items, this may be the best of them all so far.
Exactly what I have been looking for.

i brok it
i done brok it after 5 days, i was throwing it like a spear into a walnut tree from 50 to 55 feet and i brokeded at the tang just below the first peg but i suspect shenanigans for in closer inspection the break was half rusted and the other half was clean other than that the weapon was beautiful and well balanced it stuck in every throw, the blade weight and, length is fitting enough to go through 4in thick trees when swung right, and the thing as a whole can support your weight (I used it to swing from trees and slide down branches) over all very good weapon just inspect it on arrival.

Love it
This is an exquisite weapon. Sharp, tough, light, quick, you name it. This is also almost a foot longer then the other M48 pole arms that I have. I hope that they will put out more in this length. All in all, a wonderful choice in a pole arm!

Feels Lethal
Take it from this swords man this weapon feels every bit as lethal as advertised. It is solid, a good weight and sharp. I have seldom found such a good product for such a good price and this one is no disappointment, I assure you, you will love this M48 Naginata it is a combination of great with awesome and delivers on its' promise.

The Kind of Weapon I Would Design
I've always been more of a swords man and I was never really big into spears or pole arms. But, as I started writing fantasy stories I began to realize the impracticality of swords on the battlefield and started to revisit the pole arm. Pole arms started to really grow on me when I realized how useful they can be and little skill is required to master the weapon. However, the extremely long length of the weapon does present its problems. In one of my stories I invented a new type of pole arm that I dubbed the fighting spear. It was supposed to be the length of a standard fighting staff. The weapon functions much the same as a staff but gives you the added benefit of decapitation. The M48 Naginata embodies my design concept with the 11 inch blade (although my design was a double edge dagger blade) and the overall length of the weapon is under 5 feet allowing me to use the weapon in confined spaces. This is my kind of weapon.
