Great for Breaching
Good axe, the pike end drives through glass and would very well, i practiced breaching on some old doors and it did great, got through them very fast. The only downsides ive noticed is the axe end isnt balanced very well for throwing, the pike end is better if you throw it with it facing forward, Also the paracord wrap comes off easily, ive had to rewrap it after every use, the last time i wrapped it i used cement glue to hold it to the handle and ive gotten a couple uses out of it, Overall its a great buy and i would buy it again.

Very happy with the zombie themed Christmas presents I got. this one in particular was for me ;) fairl sharp and a good point on the spike. pleased with the handle, just hoping the cord wrapping stays on. very good Tomahawk for the price.

worth absolute dirt
I had this axe for about 3 weeks. My target was a pine tree so not a super hard wood. And like other people have said it broke below the third bolt! If you want a good reliable tomahawk I'd recommend the wood handled throwing hatchet axe. You can buy 4 yes 4 at a low price than this peice of crap.

Deadly
This tomahawk worked great for a couple days, but then the handle broke due to a flaw in the injection molding. I sent a comment to United Cutlery, and right away I recieved a free new handle, and it hasn't broke again. The head is built great and can do some serious damage to any tree, target, or attacker.

This is has exceeded my expectations. Truly impressed with the quality and is great value for the cost. Planning to purchase another one soon.

how to control
If you buy this, inspect blade on the handle and if it is loose (which happens with many weapons that will be shipped) then tighten it before use or throwing SO IT WONT BREAK. Its fiberglass so it will be even weaker at weak points but stronger at build points. Be aware that when you buy this after a certain amount of use the blade will have to be sharpened but you will have to use a hand grinder or a bench grinder due to the thickness of the blade from the edge. Besides that, with enough force, you may cleave bone. And that spike is lethal.

GREAT buy
This tomahake is Awesome, ive read the other reviews on it but i dont now why they think this axe sucks, i have own this weapon for about 10 months now and with in the firs 2 its started to get marks on the tomahake it self. but that is because i used it ALOT, i thru it i used it on some Drywall, chopped fire wood, its just an Awesome buy,It is the most Durable Axe i have ever owned,My only complaint is thar the core wrapped handle took some geting use to and it came undone after aroud 5 or 6 months

Good Hawk.
I got this tomahawk over 5 months ago, and has done me good. I have seen people that throw it (I haven't personally thrown this yet) but from how most of these break is by people throwing them, that to me is probably abusive to the tomahawk, so I probably won't be throwing this (I'm not picking on anyone who has been throwing it.)But awesome tomahawk! (Just remember not to throw it :) )
