Description

This unassuming sword cane is a beast when it comes to self defense! It offers a strong, partial crook handle constructed of injection-molded fiberglass-reinforced nylon composite for a strong, sturdy grip. The 16 3/4" blade is cast from 2Cr13 stainless steel with a satin finish and piercing point for deep penetration. It is very similar in design to United Cutlery's popular "Urban Stinger" daggers, but on a larger scale. The ultradurable, sturdy shaft is built just as well as the handle, making this sword cane virtually indestructible! The end of the shaft also features a rubber tip, making it easy to navigate through icy streets and uneven sidewalks.

I've tried making my own sword canes but nothing ever came close to this sword cane. Beautifully plain looking but strong and surprising light.

One TOUGH SWORD!!! Reviewed by Gregory Brooks on Feb 22, 2019   5 out of 5

I received this just today and I was a little disappointed that I didn't have any sharp edges oh, so I'm still keeping it I spent the last 4 hours grinding it down to a sword with a hellacious tip. When I say I spent four hours on the grinding wheel, I had to use that time to break down this piece of Steel. It is almost impossible to bring it to a sword's edge, but I've got some equipment that helped me. This thing can slice paper and of course it can still go through pretty much anything that you want to stab. I am very happy with the sword and also now the improvised sword. This thing is heavy don't be misled. I walked my dog this afternoon and I was tired when I got back and I'm usually not, but the sword was that heavy it wore me out.

Simply Awesome Reviewed by David Todeschini on Jan 12, 2018   5 out of 5

This thing exceeded my expectations. Nicely built, no complex locking mechanisms or buttons to find. JUST a baada-bing would take down most attackers, but the blade is menacing. Don't bring a knife to s gunfight. See my video on YouTube Net4Truth USA channel

Nice for the price but it is real heavy. I am 75 years old and it is heavy for me to lift.

I ordered the Honshu Sword Cane-Wow it arrived earlier than said ,right to my Apartment Door, which is rare ,and Thanks for the fast service,And The Cane was awesome everything, was tight the washers were sealed so when you pulled the Sword out it all fit snug, and the Sword was tight and didn't rattle, heavier than it looked,I was really impressed. Thanks for the Great Service, especially at Christmas time.

Pros: Well made. Bought it because of the great price and design feature. Liked the grip Cons: Very heavy for a walking cane, around 3 lbs.. No weight was given in the listing. Shaft is bulky looking.. Cumbersome and hard to handle and walk with for an 85 year old. Would be nice if it were thinner and lighter weight. More of a collector item than a practical cane. I will keep it as a collection.

Nice cane, well made, but the handle is made for small to average hands. It is solid molded nylon, so I used a sanding drum to re-contour the grip. Much better, but could still use a larger handle.

Great cane sword Reviewed by on Feb 02, 2017   5 out of 5

This cane sword is very well made. The only thing I wanted to do (didn't really have to) was to change the o-rings on the upper shaft so the handle would fit a little more snug. Everyone I showed it to said it was very well made also. And we all like the fact that it is more like a dagger, than a long sword. It has a little rattle as you use it as a cane, but a small o-ring slipped onto the dagger takes care of that. Buy one, you'll love it.

Nice but Noisy !! Reviewed by Kenneth Smith on Aug 19, 2016   5 out of 5

Great cane but quite noisy and a little to tall for the average person. I filled mine with liquid rubber to stop the blade/spike from hitting the sides when walking. Sad that It needs to be modified before use, especially for as much as I paid for it !!! Doubt I'd ever buy another or even suggest it to a friend. Quality does NOT match the price !

Rugged Reviewed by Michael Hoyt on May 10, 2016   5 out of 5

My only "Con" which is partially my fault for not reading the description & reviews closer, is that the blade is more of a spike than a blade perse'. That being said, due to it's construction, you could possibly beat someone into submission w/it as well as stabbing through most conventional body armor w/the spike. Changing the tip on the bottom may be preferable as like mentioned in prior reviews, it is hard & prone to slipping. Not terribly bad, as we have hardwood & linoleum floors in our house & I haven't had it shoot out from under me but you need to be aware. Thought I'd buy it as a Just in Case thing as I just had hernia surgery. The handle has indentations/finger grooves on both sides which makes it pretty much ambidextrous. Very satisfied overall. Nice buy.

Seriously effective! Reviewed by on Apr 16, 2016   5 out of 5

This is a serious sword cane. Not some $20 wannabee. The construction is excellent, with a super strong outer cane and an amazingly strong and sharp spike. The handle grip is exactly what is needed, as there isn't a guard on the sword itself between the spike and the handle. The spike has four fullers for maximum strength and eight sharp edges leading to the tip of the spike. The only thing I had to do (and I did it within minutes of taking it out of the shipping box) was replace the hard plastic tip at the base of the cane with a rubber tip. The hard plastic tip that came with it had absolutely no traction at all. It just slid on hard surfaces. I just took one off of one of my old canes and problem solved in minutes. If your looking for a sturdy cane and would like the added benefit of a protective spike, I highly recommend this one.

Honshu Sword Cane Reviewed by William Paisley on Oct 21, 2015   5 out of 5

This is hands down the finest contemporary sword cane I have ever purchased! Having owned well over 6,000 canes in my 40 plus years of collecting canes I can say the vast majority of the sword canes offered for sale today are to put it nicely garbage. This Honshu sword cane is an exception. The high tech materials used in its construction make it incredibly strong and the quadrangular armor piercing blade is unique among modern sword canes. This cane was not intended to slice; it was intended to puncture soft and hard armor creating a devastating wound. The original square blade concealed in a cane was used by the Germans in the early 16th century as far as we know. I have owned many and this is the equal if not superior to those ancient innovative canes. This is a "must have" for your collection!

This thing means business! Reviewed by on Oct 05, 2015   5 out of 5

This might not be a "sword" blade, but this spike on this Honshu sword cane is incredibly sharp and I would hate to be on the business end of it. I tested it on 1/2" particle board and it penetrated with hardly any effort. Not to mention it just looks awesome! 5 stars ALL THE WAY.
