Specially designed for the CVA Paramount Muzzleloader, Powerbelt AeroTip ELR bullets deliver maximum devastation and long-range performance for game-taking results. They can provide superior long-range performance in any .45 caliber muzzleloader with a twist rate of 1:24 or faster. These longer length, aggressively tapered rounds feature a polycarbonate tip that preserves aerodynamic integrity and prevents premature expansion. The smooth-plated finish reduces standard deviation between shots for superior accuracy and the larger hollow point cavity reduces weight and maximizes internal expansion. The bullets have a larger diameter gas check for a tight seal and the scores inside allow positive release when the bullets exit the barrel. Also, flutes in the gas check make them easier to load. In testing with the Paramount, the Powerbelt AeroTip ELR bullets achieved muzzle velocities in excess of 2,200 fps.
