Important first-time use note:To prevent battery drainage during shipment, the built-in flashlight's battery compartment contains a small paper disk that serves as a barrier between battery and power contact. The integrated LED flashlight will not turn on until the paper disk is removed. Before using flashlight for the first time, simply unscrew flashlight top to reveal battery compartment, then remove paper disk and discard. After ensuring batteries are properly seated on contact point, screw flashlight top back on and activate LED by twisting. *Disclaimer: Battery may need replacing upon receipt.

Light and opening mech

Out of the 2 light is very dim on one, and the other would not open all the way, after lots of oiling finally got it to open, was going to give the other as a gift but can't since the light doesn't work right.

Knife is good, could not get flashlight to work

Took out paper, tested batteries on multimeter they measured 1.56 or 1.57 so they were good. Turned them both ways, twisted hard like suggested. Flashlight function will not work!
Response: There is a tiny piece of clear plastic that is wrapped around the batteries. Please remove the plastic and you should have 3 little batteries. Insert them facing up and the flash light will work.

Absolutely Amazing MUST BUY

I got this knife for my birthday. I thought it was a pretty cool knife and then I found out about the window breaker, the seatbelt cutter, the flashlight (pretty powerful flashlight so buy a few extra batteries) quick opening and I was just blown away by this knife. I thought for sure this must of costed around $40 but it was only $10, the blade is very good quality and comes sharp out of the box. It is extremely useful to have in your car for the window breaker and seatbelt cutter in case you get trapped, could easily save your life! This is my EDC whenever I am going out somewhere in the car. Can be fast deployed as well if you need it for self defense.
