Surprisingly disappointed

“This review is ment for both Kolourco and any possible purchasers of this product. I wrote this addressing Kolourco directly and I am hoping for a response by them. If this is resolved I will happily change my negative review on a product I was Exited to own.” I hope that this message reaches you, I regret to say this but I am very unhappy with the “battle spear” I received. Upon opining the package for the first time I noticed it was not as sharp as it appeared in promo videos from the creators, reviewers, and in your very own video of the product on instagram. I was exited to see it in action so I assembled it to look at it in person. I had some things to do so I tried to disassemble it, which was one of the features I was looking forward to in your product, and one of the connectors between the spearhead and the casing poll detached which made the blade unable to be sealed. I eventually fixed it so that was eventually resolved, the equipment that was not supposed to move was just loose but that was not much of a problem for me. The next day, my first day with the product, I reassembled it to see it in action for the first time. When finished striking a tree in my backyard a few times, both stabbing and 1 or 2 javelin throws, I noticed that the spearhead was bent. This was also bearable and not extremely noticeable, not a real problem for concern. Today, July 4th 2018 (my second real day owning the product), I reassembled it and went to my backyard to continue enjoying my new tool, I struck the tree, which is definitely softer then some of the objects I viewed people using this product on, and after 2 stabs of the spear I noticed that the blade felt loose so I began to disassemble the spear. When finished I reattached the pole that covered the blade and then I decided to strike the tree 2 more times in its baton state and then the blade felt looser. I reopened the blade and then noticed that the actual spearhead had broken off from its handle. This is unfixable for me and needs to be re-welded. This is not what I was promised by receiving this product and no matter the price it should have lasted more than 2 days and 2 uses. This product exited me and still dose, I believe that for the price I as the customer deserve ether a refund or what I would truly want, a new replacement spear that will not brake on me after 2 simple uses. I hope that my demands are considered reasonable by you, and I will return the broken spear or send pictures of the broken product when you would like proof of my story. I also purchased fast shipping so I would request that the new one is shipped the same way. I hope we can work something out and thank you for your cooperation.

don't throw

Unless you have a welder to put it back together! Really a neat item, lots of fun. The only problem was the construction is not meant for actual use. So just weld it together and you can then throw it or stab targets no problem.

Wow.

This was even better than I expected. Heavy duty and the engineering on it was excellent. Will easily fit in your pack or under the seat of your car. A really nice weapon that doesn't need bullets.

Good Spear For Combat & Stabbing soft things.

I purchased this spear during the latter weeks of winter, so when I tried throwing the spear for the first time and, I missed, it landed in the frozen ground, bending the tip completely over to at least a 50 degree angle. So that was disappointing, but perhaps I misunderstand the purpose of this spear. Overall, good for what it was intended to be used for, which is perhaps stabbing flesh, piercing fabric, or what have you; although it is NOT a spear for sticking into wood, penetrating metal of any kind, or twisting or pulling on when inside of any target. Push & Pull, soft objects only.

Good spear

It came well oiled to prevent rust. It has a very practical bag and each piece is set inside to fit. Great for transport. Will squeak when putting it together, so you would have to grease it or put it together two miles away your prey. I'm into ambush hunting. Keeps Me keen for when SHTF. This is a great tool for ambushing. Rather light too.

Nice and compact

Not your average spear head, this is more of a spike. It breaks apart easy enough but it's super heavy. I mean some weight is good but I think in this case it throws off the balance. Not a bad spear by any means just wish it was lighter. It becomes cumbersome to hold after while.

Great but Meh.

Bought 2 of them. First was a while ago and was great. Held together well didn't damage to easy. Second came and several thing wrong with it. 1. "Blade" was set off center. 2. One of the female threading wasn't completed so it will only allow me to screw in half way. Bought the second mostly to make a longer spear. And it does so I am happy with that. 3 stars mostly because of the condition of the second spear upon arrival.

Looks cool but soft steel

Whatever 2CR13 steel is, it's super soft. The blade was warped out of the package and when I went to tap it on the carpet to see if it would straighten out, the tip bent back the other way an inch. The tube is solid and locks up. Decent wall hanger but they would be better off just using an old SKS bayonet or something actually functional. Don't use this for anything or you'll destroy it.

great

let's just say that my days of looking for a spear that has blood grooves and also violates the geneva conventions are over.
