Awesome!
Decided to try this on a two inch ice buildup on my walkway. This handy little axe stood up to the task! The weight makes it easy to switch hands (I'm ambidextrous) and made easy work if busting up the ice!

Good for throwing too
Break off the pry bar ends and sharpen on grinder, wrap different color duct tape on the handles and use as throwing hatchets. Have entertained guests at the cabin with these for years as they are cheap enough to replace and stand up pretty well to many throws at 12-15 inch diameter tree biscuits cut about 6 inches thick and painted with target designs/colors. Invent any number of games - use 2 to 3 per player - great fun.

Cast Iron
The idea behind this is awesome, so I was very excited when I got this. However, it's made out of cast iron, which means the metal is SUPER soft. I couldn't get an edge on it to save my life. And because the metal is so soft the item is very thick to make up for the lack of strength, which also means the item is very heavy.

Nice
Solid and functional. But it came slightly rusted and i had to file those spots out. The metal looks as if parts of it were corroding but were covered with the black finish. Nevertheless, it serves its purpose well

Got 2 of them
Got for gifts for bug out bags I'm putting together. One little tool does a whole lot.

Ok !
Bought 3, one for each vehicle. Had to reprofile each one before I could sharpen them. Hey they are what they are, beaters, you hope you never have to use.

Great tool
works great as a hammer and hatchet, sturdy, and weighted well, haven't used pry bar yet though

Handy tool
This is a nice, handy, and unique little tool. It has a very good feel, thick metal, and very comfortable and nice quality rubber handle. If you're the kind of person who does a lot of woodworking, I would definitely recommend this. However, the hatchet came not sharp at all when I got it. It probably couldn't cut paper. So you'll probably need to sharpen it. Also, it's not a very pretty tool, somewhat hastily made it seems, but still good quality and very functional.

Great Christmas Gifts
Bought these for nephew's back country emergency tool boxes. For the price they were pretty good. They should help the boys with rough work in their trucks and out in the woods. Probably not good enough for a professional roofer but for hammering down a nail, splitting a bit of kindling or breaking a car window or prying a car door open during an accident recovery they should be good enough.
