The Shinwa Golden Warrior Katana is another fine example of the artistry you can only get with a hand-forged sword. The keenly sharp, 28 1/2” blade is hand-forged of 1045 carbon steel with a gold finish, and it extends from a solid, brass habaki. The handle is wrapped in faux ray skin and gold cord-wrap and the handguard and pommel are metal alloy with a gold finish. The 40” overall katana slides securely into a black lacquered wooden scabbard, which has a gold cord-wrap accent.
