Got these in recently and they're pretty well made, feel kinda light so I'm worried about clashing these training swords against anything of equal or greater force and sadly, the rubber stoppers are too large and don't stop the guard from sliding down which really makes it somewhat pointless. Not a big problem but still a dislike about this item I received. Next time you guys are about to sell this item, check to make sure the guard can actually stay on by giving a few swings with it completely assembled to see for yourselves whether or not its worth sending out to a customer.

One of the bokkens split, after I have stroke it against my punching bag only a couple of times; the other one is good at the moment. Other than that, everything else is good.

the shipping took 3 days. when i got they where clean and perfect except the hand guard didn't fit quite right. but it held in sparring for a month until one cracked. the to i got where completely different one looked like the one in the picture and one was darker. the lighter one got more dent while sparring and the darker didn't but that was the one that cracked after a while. also the hand wrappings where glued on so they eventually came off and the hand guard broke during sparring.Tip:wrap wooden blade in electrical tape it makes last longer.

One held up rather well, while the other one broke during training... The wrapping is glued on and over all, horrid. I ended up pulling it all off, and covering the handles with electrical tape. I good buy for beginners, but not dependable for heavy practice training.

These swords are amazing. I got them for my friend and I and they are great bokken. First off, the rubber guard does not fit correctly, so be prepared to use wood glue. After it dried, we decided to spar. The wrapping was fairly tight, but tended to shift sometimes. After we finished, there were no dents in the blade and was still in perfect condition. The bokkens are made of red oak and are darker than in the picture, but the're still great. They are very strong and durable and you do NOT want to accidentally get hit in the hand. 5/5 great swords I'll definitely be back for more. I highly recommend them if you want to spar.

great practice swords. only negative thing: the hand guard is a small piece of plastic that doesn't fit the bokken correctly.
